Toxic Waste

There was a case about contaminated drinking water that was reported in one of the military sites in the American Lake Gardens. The site was a dumping site used by the military. It was until the matter was reported to the health organization such as the Tacoma- Pierce County Health Department and EPA. The paper examines the issues and problems related to the American Lake Gardens.

As research was carried out by the health departments, it was found out that wells and drinking water around the region was contaminated. There were high levels of metals and other harmful wastes (Daele, 2007). It possesses health risk problems to the residents around that particular region.
