Why you shouldn’t drink and drive?” Be sure to include personal experiences, and your thoughts on the importance of avoiding drinking and driving. What adversity have you experienced and how have you overcome it?

We all know the fact that consumption of liquor is not good for health. Drinking of alcohol may cause several disease like liver problem, depression, insomnia, kidney failure etc.

Drink and drive is very dangerous for our own life as well for others life. We should not drink and drive. Based on my personal experience , I would recommend to everyone to avoid drink and drive. It was the worst experience from which i have been gone through.

I was returning to home from one of my friends birthday party at night. I had drunk too much, I was in inebriated condition. One of my friend was with me in the car. He also had drunk too much. Since I was under the influence of alcohol I was driving my car in high speed, suddenly a big SUV car came from front and I lost my control over speed and rammed in the SUV car from front. I was unconscious at that moment. My friend was also injured in the incident. Because we had wore the seat belt, we were alive. My car was damaged from the front. I also got injuries in my body. The SUV driver was also injured in the incident. Then, a FIR was lodged against me and a case was file against me. I had to appear in the court many times and I had to compensate the driver of SUV. It was the worst experience which I can’t forget ever in my life.

So with the help of my own experience everyone should learn a lesson that drink and drive is very dangerous for our own life as well for others. It may bring you behind the bar, huge penalties may be imposed by the law, you have to pay compensation to the victim. It may ruin your image in the society. Overall there is not benefit of drink and drive.

I have decided not to drive after consuming alcohol because I live my life it is very precious for me and I can’t keep at risk.
