Mentoring also gives the mentee the confidence to accomplish greater tasks with confidence that somebody has their backs should they slip they can get better support and correction. Being mentored also gives motivation for the mentee for job retention and succession in the future thus increasing productivity (Goetsch, & Davis, 2014). Employees with mentors are also more productive and delivers better quality of work. This is because their work specialization has been given additional advantage by a superior force correctively monitoring and guiding the quality of work being delivered.
