The different planning tools are imperative to assist organizations make informed decisions and enhance better implementation of solutions and such tools include matrix diagram, process decision program chart (PDPC) and the affinity diagram (Bryson, 2018). Such tools are imperative in enhancing performance and the overall success of an organization since they help organizations in making sound decision, planning and effective execution of plans. Specifically, such tools like an affinity diagram helps organization to consolidate fragmented ideas into groups based on their similarities and establishes the causal relations hence assist in solving complex problems. A Metrix diagram helps firms establish related fields in relations to functions hence can combine different tools and factors to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The process decision program chart is a tool used to document all the relevant procedures needed in planning and implementing an organizational procedures and or processes. Performance would thus be enhanced and success achieved to the extent that such tools would be used during the planning, implementation, decision making and routine operations within the organization.
