There are a number of special issues that a rise in cybercrime as compared to traditional crimes in the contemporary criminal world. In cybercrimes the criminals are able to come from foreign countries and commit such crimes in another country without their physical appearance in such countries where crime is committed ever. The online wars are done with necessarily being able to be at a particular location (Gordon, 2006). This complex nature makes it very difficult to catch the criminals on the act. Additionally, the cybercrimes are able to steal without ever being detected for a long duration of time with the ability to hide identity. In order to protect their organizations against cybercrimes, firms should invest heavily on cyber security, strong passwords and cloud computing systems which are very difficult to hack. The employees must also be trained on all care aspects to avoid negligence that can give both the cybercrime and traditional criminals, opportunities of crime. Importantly, it is absolutely in the best interest of the organization to encourage whistleblowing to prevent inside jobs with criminals.
