The speaker had an excellent articulation of words coupled with good audibility. He also had an excellent mastery of content and was well dressed. He also had a good voice projection and kept his face towards the audience.
Despite the amazing strengths, the speech was boring and encaptivating. The introduction should have been more captivating such as giving a story of President Roosevelt related to the presentation to ensure his audience was more interested in his speech from the beginning. One would assume good articulation and audibility would have been enough to capture the attention of his audience, but it was not the case for him. His body posture was poor that included the crossing of arms from the beginning of the speech to the end, sometimes his pauses were too long, and at one point he appeared nervous and uncomfortable. At some point, he couldn’t maintain high contact and almost dozed off in his speech.
