It was a close fight in the second set, they were tied to 12 until UVC committed unforced errors that creates a three-point lead for F2 Logistics.
Meanwhile, UVCs floor defense is getting better and they tied again to 18 but Lindsay Stalzer and Ara Galang started to smash that creates a five-point lead for F2 Logistics. To get their momentum back, UVC calls for a time out and then gained three points after that, but Galang with a hit and Stalzers service ace takes them to set point. UVC takes a score with 21-24, but Galang ended up the game again firing.
At the beginning of the third set, UVC started well. But because of their unforced errors in the service line, it converted a point for F2 and tied to 7 and Cargo Movers takes the first technical time out. This time Majoy Baron engages in doubled quick play and triple service ace that takes them to a four-point lead. However, UVC remains fighting and tries to make a close fight but Majoy locked the net with Stalzer blowing her canon that leads them to the match point. UVC turned the scores to 22-24 but unfortunately, Kalei Mau ended the game with an error.
In this match, it shows up that Alex Cabanos rises up to the challenge of being the Cargo Movers setter after Kim Fajardo being injured. She drew evenly distributed production to Ara Galang, Lindsay Stalzer, Majoy Baron, Becky Perry and Abi Mara?o to keep the Cargo Movers undefeated in the PSL Grand Prix 2019. Both imports and local players did well in this match, and its really the teamwork and patience that brings the team to victory. The system is really working for everyone, its just that we have to follow the coaches, keep calm and just keep trusting each other. Cabanos said being the MVP of the match with 16 excellent sets and 2 aces.
