Redbox operates DVD rental kiosks at over 24,000 retail locations across the country. Redbox provides an automated self service system that holds over almost 6000 DVDs. It also allows the customers to pick up any movie at the cost of only $1 per day.

Although Its strong competitors like Amazon.com, Netflix and Iphone Apps already have a strong presence online, Redbox’s pricing strtaegy gives it a competitive advantage. Moreover, Redbox’s small 12ft kioks  have revolutionized the rental industry and have changed the way customers looked into the rental service and the ease of renting. Redbox also uses various already established way of warehousing to store the stock of DVDs and then they are moved to Redbox’s different location all over the country i.e over 24,000 locations. Redbox also uses various innovative technologies to ease the conveinece of renting.
