Project crashing is a method to reduce the time of the completion of the project. In this project completion time is reduced to meet the project deadline.Following are the reasons of project crashing

1.Early results- When an organisation wants early results, then the project crashing is used.

2.When youa are facing one of the project putting the rest of the project at risk.If any of the stream is not working properly and this is going to hold the rest of the project to ransom, this technique is generally used in ths situation.

3.When there is already a delay has occured in the project.

4.When the team and workers working on the project are neededon some other work.

5.It may be possible,that resources are free and avaolable in other tasks.

Following factors to be considered while crashing as project.

1.Firstly it is to be identified that which task is to be shorten to shorten the whole protect completion time. These tasks are known as critical task and critical task method is to be applied to identify them.

2.It is to be identified that how much additional resources are needed to crash the project or a critical task. It is to be ensured that the budget of an organsation does not shaken badly for the availability of resources required to crash the project.

3.Ensure that an organisation shall not occur loss or affects the profitabitability anyhow. Because applying more resources (i.e labour etc) may lead to enhance the production cost and operating cost, whic may affects the profitability of the an organisation

4.It is the duty of the manager to opt for the less costly method of crashing the project.
