According to CBS news investigation, they have identified 19 federal lobbyers who are closely related to members of Congress committee and they are all family members. Restrictions are lobbyers cannot lobby their relations. Senators & Congress men to be employed for a beneficial salary which is a conflict of interest. Such lobbying activities were found in departments like Technology communications committee, coast guard committee, defense committee, healthcare, railroads committee where all lobbyers are their own family members of the committee members. Members of Congress disagree stating family business is separate from nations business. But this is a clear conflict of interest and is an issue of speculation.

One best solution that I can think of is to have a legal ordinance to be passed that ensure the law where Congress committee members who are representative of the functioning of government and the lobbyers who influence members of the government to endorse the legislation should not be from the same family. If any violations are found, details from watch dog as shown in the video to be taken as directions and clarify the allegation against both committee members and the lobbyers.
