Nominal Level:
1. The nominal level is the first level of measurement.
2. The words, numbers are used to classify the datas.
3. The nominal is quality measurement as it differentiate by the names and variables. Eg the male is represented as M and the female will be represented as F and the numbers can be given as 1 for male and 2 for female.
Ordinal Level:
1. The second level of measurement is called ordinal level.
2. Ordering of the measurement is called as ordinal level as where the variables would be assigned according to the orders.
3. Examples of ordinal level is the ranking system as 1, 2 etc according to the position and grades obtained.
Interval Level:
1. The third level of measurement is called as interval level.
2. It specifies and measure the distance on each interval scales between the variables.
3. Example the interval between 1 and 2 is the same as the interval distance between 8 and 9 in the 10 scale of measurement.
