Solved: Is it ethical for a company to purchase another firm to gain ownership of its product innovations

ethically it may not be correct. but some times we need to practice this in order to gain market leadership and in order to sustain the business for a longer period. in modern days, every thing is selfish and commercialized. in this every one is playing to be part in the game. there will be one winner at the end of the game, but there will be many participants in the game.

hence purchasing another firm to retain its market share and other aspects, ethically i do not encourage this. but legally it is possible and acceptable too. there are many firms doing this for sustain in market.
