- Commitment:job security acknowledges the intrinsic need that employees have to demonstrate their commitment to the business and their job duties.HR management fulfills that need through ensuring staffing levels are consistent with the business needs and that employees can reasonably expect they can be long-term employees.
- Competence:Competence is a principle that supports business development.it is a factor in employees job satisfaction and how the organisation affects society.Successful businesses reply on competency through providing training and orientation to upgrade and improve employees skills and job knowledge.
- Cost Effectiveness:Budgets for HR department often are insufficient to support all the necessary HR activities,especially in areas such as recruiting,training and development and employee relations.HR is not a revenue generating department,which is one reason budgets for HR departments might be the first cut.
- Congruence:Attainable workforce management goals must be congruent with the overall goals of the business.Goals such as becoming an industry leader requires an HR focus on recruiting talented workers capable of innovative research and development of company products.this part pf the “congruence”principle addresses the individual employee and the organisation.
- Recruitment to retirement:HR is all about dealing with employees from recruitment to retirement.it includes manpower planning,selection,training,and development,placement,wage,tarnsfer,separation,performance,appraisal,job evaluation and controlling prople.
- People behind the machine count:previously,it was the machine behind the man that counted.Today ,people are the real power to drive organisations forward.machines only assist people.
- Appreciate attitude but respect intelligence:it is true that both attribute and intelligence are essential to improve the organisational bottom line.HR leaders find it is tough to get both,they should accomplish organisational goals and objectives.
- Shed complexity,wed simplicity:People today prefer to eork in flat organisations rather than tall ones.tall organisations often have hierarchies with a bureaucratic mindset that doesn’t work in the present context.
- Hire slow,fire fast:HR leaders must be slow in hiring the right talent for their organisation.They must look for right mindset,skill set,and tool set in job seekers during recruitment.if they find that bad apples entered into their basket,they must be removed quickly to contain further damage to their organisation.
