How does your company’s mission statement influence marketing decisions here in USA? (If you do not work for a company or don’t know the mission statement, choose a company that you do know their mission statement and use that.)
The company that i would to take up is Amazon.com
Amazon’s mission statement is : “We strive to offer our customers the lowest possible prices, the best available selection, and the utmost convenience.”
From the mission statement of Amazon the following features can be identified-
1.Lowest price: amazon is focusing on a best pricing strategy by proving their customrs with the best possible price for its products. Amazon is focusing mainly on different offers, discounts etc. The objective of this strategy is to reduce operational costs.
2.Best selection: Amazon’s mission statement also focuses on having the best selection for the customers. Having a wide range of products for the customers is a major factor that attracts the customers.
3. Utmost convenience: convenience is also a main factor of the comapany’s marketing strategy as in online retail service convience is the qualifying criteria that the customers focus on.
