Virtual teams are a reality in today’s business life, where team members are living far away from each other still working together to accomplish one goal. To make virtual team work communication plays the most important role. It is very important that there shouldn’t any kind of communication gap among the team members. In a virtual team, the team use various platforms like hangout, skype etc to engage in video conferencing to discuss the project they have to work on. Post that, they work individually on their parts and connect with their team or the team leader in case they are having any form of confusion. Apart from that, there are various project monitoring tools like trello which are being used to monitor the progress of the project. Some teams even use time tracking software to check how much time every team member is giving to the project.
