Yes I agree that users should be able to opt of the mobile as targeting. Currently if a person brows for any product in any website, the news feed related to similar product starts popping up in the home page of user. The Facebook tracks the activity of individual user and capture the information and displays advertisement related to past activity. This is termed as target marketing. Example: If I search for a baseball bat in amazon, the advertisement related to bats from other site also starts appearing.

This becomes really annoying for user as Facebook is a social media for interaction and not a platform for such rigorous advertisement. Also, it shows the Facebook tracks the activity of users outside the site and is a threat for their privacy. Thus, users should have an option to opt of such target advertisement and protect their privacy. There are many other modes which sites can adopt for marketing and show the content of interest for the user. Also, people should be given option to edit the kind of advertisement they are interested to watch. Hence, users can limit the traffic of advertisement on their page and news feed.
