The best of leaders are not one dimentional, they adopt different approaches depending on the people they lead and the situation they are in.

For instance the leader who is taking care of the factory production and all of a sudden the resources are scarce, then he motivates the team, himself gets involved and shows how to work and this way acts as a servant to show others how customers demands are always addressed and hence the situation demands and so the response is apt.

In case of a down turn he lets go of workers but spiritually motivates the remaining workers to perform to their best and hence overcome the tough time.

Same leader as a autocratic ruler gives power to the workers when everything is smooth and normal, the productivity is optimal.Here he acts as an authentic leader.
