Social Worker SW1/Student Welfare

You are employed as a social worker with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development located at Erinsborough High School, an inner city school with a culturally diverse student population.

Your role includes delivering:

• Individual counselling to students
• Group programs that address particular issues e.g. bullying;
• Advocacy
• Counselling and support for children displaying behavioural problems in class and the school environment
• Working together with Child Protection and other community agencies to support the families of

vulnerable students……..
