Due to the social distancing restrictions, we are currently under, Deaf event requirements have been removed and are being replaced with a cultural research project you will now complete a cultural research paper investigating any of the following topics in Deaf culture: History Art/Literature Education Politics Ethics/values/ideologies Sociocultural factors Social practices you are not to include language/linguistics or interpreting in your research as you need to focus more on culture rather than language.Requirements/Criteria of Research Paper You must include at least 5 resources in your research, as described below: 2-3 academic resources in the form of either peer-reviewed journal articles or published texts (check MSJC’s online research database for free online resources) Your research paper must be a total of 8 pages in length of content; this does not include your works cited/resource page MLA format or APA format, whichever you prefer; 12-pt. font, double-spaced, 1” margins. Your paper must be saved as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf format; all other formats will not be accepted and you will receive a “0” for the incorrect formatting. Do not include your name, class information, date, etc.; this information is automatically included with your submission via Canvas
