After reviewing the handouts “A Model for Planning and Implementing Academic Service Learning,” A Model for Planning and Implementing Academic Service Learning Template” and “Service Learning Journal Template,” please complete the following:

1. Use content knowledge from your program of study and identify a course to use as the foundation for your Academic Service Learning Project Proposal.

2. Submit a copy of the SUBR catalog description for the identified course for instructor approval.

3. Complete the top portion and the Academic Service Learning (ASL) Component: Awareness for your prosed ASL Project Proposal using “A Model for Planning and Implementing Academic Service Learning Template.”

4. Complete numbers 1-4 of the “Service Learning Journal Template,” for your proposed ASL Project Proposal.
