Recently, the amount of data stored and produced in a company has tremendously increased. It becomes difficult to manage such amount of information in a company. The company managers require additional skills and experience. They need a lot of caution when dealing with the information because the loss of data could mean a significant loss to the organization or company (Provan, & Kenis, 2008). The tremendous change of technology makes software and hardware obsolete in a short span of life. Therefore, the managers must keep on buying new software and equipment to match the trend. This makes it very expensive to manage. The managers are forced to go back to class and learn new technology skills manage the new software appropriately. It is time-consuming and very inconveniencing.
In summary, there are many managerial issues associated with managing a networked organization that leads to company losses and failure. Data losses could result in financial losses of the organization. Virus attacks, hacking, and cyber-crimes have become very rampant in the technology world. Provan, & Kenis, 2008). If action is not taken to stop the security issues, a lot of damage could be caused. The managers of the information system should take caution and prevent the companies from those threats.

Managerial issues of networked organizations include developing and managing distributed systems. Distributed system services are difficult to control since you have to ensure that all services are available in all the branches (ROCKARTAND, & Short, 1991). Creating and implementing a responsive and adaptive information system that react to different situations differently is also difficult. A company’s information system channels are prone to insecurity. Managers find it difficult to manage this sector because it is the primary target for hackers.
Summery
Effective management is very crucial when it comes to the success of a networked organization. It can reduce risks that are inherently associated with the cooperative strategy (ROCKARTAND & Short, 1991). Without some network management, then it is impossible to compete with other companies. The network types include clusters, alliance networks, virtual organizations, and outsourcing.
