Leadership Principles
In order to be an effective leader, one needs to be guided by certain principles that serve as the anchor of the source of leadership skills and authenticity. In my transformative leadership, the guiding principles include integrity, pragmatism, and efficient communication to the followers or people you are in charge of in a group.
Integrity principles guide my transformational leadership to possess transparency and accountability setting up a good example for the junior employees (Manning & Curtis, 2014). Integrity induces the adherence of ethical standards in the workplace impacting to a great commitment to the organization. This impact to increased productivity and great corporate culture.
The pragmatism principle guiding my leadership efficiency is a critical entity that focuses on looking for actionable solutions in a realistic manner. Being a pragmatist, it induces a high principle of being results oriented. Hence, provoke critical thinking and enhance development.
The utilization of efficient communication principle guides the transformational leadership to ensure that all employees are on board and aware of what’s going on in an organization (Kest, 2006). Communication is always an essential entity to ensure development and working together towards a common goal in an organization.
How Others in the Workplace React to Personal Leadership Principles
The combination of these leadership principles served my transformational style to guarantee growth and accelerated progress in an organization. The employees who function under my supervision focus on using me as a role model for their conduct. This apprehends their reaction and acceptance of my leadership as they believe in my and the leadership style I employed. The level of the followers’ acceptance of these principles serve as their points of emulation and as well incorporate them into their daily operations in the organization. In turn, this culminates in continued development.
