You are working as an InfoSec analyst and the business asks you to review the logs for the engineering department, especially the logs for the R&D section. What would you look for? Is this a portion of a vulnerable perimeter. If so, how?

Expert Answer

If they ask them to review the logs for the engineering department according to my research it is not crossing the vulnerabilities because Security analysts are responsible for the analyzing the data so if the management or higher officials ordered they need to review them. They are responsible for protecting the sensitive information in the company. We can see many hackers and attackers now a days are more at the same time we need to watch our data to keep securily without being accessed inapropriately. Infosec analyst creates plans of preventing unnecessary use of data now comes to the question if the assigned work that they think if it is a threat to the organisation they will not review whatever it may be. If it don;t causes anything wrong they will give you and nothing shows a vulnerable thing.
