What is the relationship of language and culture? How is it that people from the same language may still miscommunicate? Please explain.

Language and culture has a direct relationship. In fact the language forms a part of the culture and is used for maintaining and conveying culture and cultural ties. Language is not only a tool for information exchange but it also has power to create and shape the identities, values and perceptions of the people. Hence language is often used for creating cultural ties. Many cultures also share a common language and hence the language also forms a part of the culture as it is shared by the people belonging to that culture. Language helps the people to convey their common values and culture.
