SWOT analysis is used in decision making process and helps in strategies of any organisation. It is drawn in four quadrant form and is a very useful tool. However this method has some limitations.

1. This analysis simplifies the problem but sometimes oversimplifies it. This makes the problem simpliefied to the extent beyong the requirement but the problem will not be solved.

2. It is possible only when complete subject is available in other situations rhis method cannot be used.

3.It gives equal importance to every point and does not give any priority to any point. This makes work complex for us as we have to prioritize them again.
