Use of sunscreen lotion help to lower the effect of sun rays on body. The sun rays cause skin damage; sun burn etc. and these problems lead to skin cancer. Hence to avoid skin cancer sunscreen lotion is used.
If we talk about the SPF, SPF is a unit that show the effectiveness of the lotion that how effective the lotion is against the sun rays.
Suppose a human skin burn in 20 minutes in sun after applying the SPF15 it will help the human to remain in sun for 20*15=300minutes.
