No negligence is fail to acts as a reasonable prudent person in the fact of a foreseeable risk . to commit an intential tort, one has to know with sustential certainty that their act will bring about a certain result.

Negligence is doing something an accident .intentional tort are committee on purpose something the difference are very subtle.

Example….if a person knows someone is going to sit down in a chair and that person moves the chair and the individual that is going to sit down falls to the ground, the person who moved chair will be liable for battery. What if person who moved chair didn’t know that a particular person was going to sit down in a chair ? But some one who though the chair was where it was before being moved goes and sit down they fall as the chair has been moved.

Sometime negliance involved such a grievous act that it rise to the level of recklessness.

Which in practice is pretty much an in between stage between negligence and intention tort.
