Installing and configuring Windows server 2012 exam 70–410

Hired as a network coordinator I was assigned to work under the administrator of network which has five windows server 2012 R2 EE and 200 windows server 7 workstations. Did the man on the storage has grown in the network and I have been asked to increase the storage in the network. My supervisor would like to find the pros and cons of of using SAN or NAS. What considerations do I follow to choose one over the other? How do these technology compare with crowding computing? I am also in need to design in storage for a medium size company without any restrictions and considerations, which technology would you recommend? And why ?

The choice of whether to implement SAN or NAS should depend on the performance you want and its ease of use. NAS is file-based storage that’s less expensive and easier for organizations to work with. SAN is block-based storage that’s more expensive but provides better performance.

NASs are reliable, inexpensive, and ideal for SMBs looking for an easily implemented storage solution.
SANs are high-performing, complex systems and ideal for mission-critical tools and companies looking for top-of-the-line storage performance and reliability.

Selecting the right approach to data storage in a surveillance environment will differ from organisation to organisation: as in many environments where performance can be a top priority it makes sense to start the search for a solution by looking to address the essential requirements, rather than listing cost at the start. When it comes choosing the right storage technology for a surveillance environment, there are pros and cons to both SAN and NAS. The right fit for your business is out there and ready to help you improve your IT budget’s return.I would recommend SAN technology for your small requirement due to its high performance and higher reliability.
