Project Management is the application of knowledge, skills , tools and techniques to project activities to meet the stakeholder needs.
Planning for the Homework: The first and foremost step is to formulate a plan for the assignment. It should include
what is the assignment all about, who will do the work and which portion (incase of a group assignment), the scheduling of the various phases in project i.e how much time should every step of the project should take and the range for total project completion and lastly what would be the budget for the assignment (if required).
The costs have to be estimated and terms of both time and money, data sources (information) have to be determined and responsibilities have to be formalized
The next step is to execute the project to complete the assignment, information from data sources should be organized and analysis should be done. the schedule set should be followed
Simultaneous to execution , controlling has to be done in terms of costs planned and incurred, as well as time alloacted to activities
The assigment has to be close well before the maxiumum time limit, all the tasks listed have to be matched with tasks completed and refrences should be done
