Some of the tips for avoiding biased behavior are:

1. Set parameters and follow them: There should be some parameters such as minimum educational qualification or work experience must be fixed and it should be followed at the time of hiring.
2. Performance should be the seen: Appraisal should be done on performance and not because of person’s looks, native, religion etc.
3. Find who might be feeling like an outsider: Find who might consistently feel like and outsiders and do necessary things to include such a person in the group.
4. Recognize people’s different capabilities: Always try to recognize people’s different capabilities and help them in enhancing those capabilities.
