The role of managers is quite challenging when they will have to manage an organization having people with diverse culture. A well established communication channel will be provide better organization wide coordination and control.

For example :

If , a vice president of marketing wants to sent a message to its first line people and if the sales promotion executive will receive the same or intended message then it will be a good example of effective organization wide communication.

Mangers will assist , support and mange the organizational communication with the following manner,

1) They will have to choose best mode of communication like audio, video , email , letter, other messaging etc.

2) They might set a clear way of communication. For example, who will communicate to whom, by which mode of communication they will complete their conversation etc.

3) They will have to decide that In case any emergency who will manage the communication flow.

4) They should promote interpersonal communication among the employees. It will increase their behavioral etiquette with other members of the organization.

5) They will set a disciplinary procedure in case any miscommunication or intentionally cause rumour in the organization.

6) The privacy related to organizational credentials must be kept secure , it should be one of the goal of the organization.

7) Managers might take leadership role for motivating their subordinates for the organizational performance, it could be done only with an effective communication.
