Expert Answer
Co-teaching leads in physical, mental as well as emotional disadvantage at the same time for the students to be as a member of a mainstream classroom and to build up relationships. This form of teaching is being designed in order to make sure that all the students comes under the same standards and have the same form of learning. When two educators are present in the classroom, this makes it possible for the teacher to make out some added advantage and support for the students who are in need.
One of the biggest disadvantages for using co-teachers is that there is a lack of subject matter expertise which is provided by the teacher who specially specialized. One co-teacher specializes in one particular subject, such as in Math, English, science or social studies. In this form of teaching, student can work along with the teacher who is not particularly a subject matter expert. Proper planning is a solution to this problem, but it gets difficult for the teacher to study continuously of the new material in advance.
Planning for the classroom involves the use of strengths and weaknesses, comparing all the highlights that are all the strengths which is the main for one teacher and makes it possible for that person to be in a lead as a teacher. When using these strength, differences can be easily made by the set of instructions in order meet the needs of a group in a more proper way and also making it possible for instructions provided for each and everyone individually.
