There is friend of mine, whom student generally criticize but it did not take any adverse effect on him, rather I was very surprised how he has handled the situation and emerged as leader, not only he made others understand his approach but also made them agree to his point by giving the logical and constructive approach.
What he did when other student criticized him is if there was his mistake is admitted it without being emotional (this gave me understanding of how to keep calm in adverse situation). Then he approached to the student who has criticized him on how can he be proactive in his approach for not to commit mistakes or to make improvements (this gave me understanding on there is nothing wrong to seek a solution from experts or work in team to attain the objective). He also spoke to them rather than call coming together and giving him feedback it is better to have one to one conversation (this aspect of his gave me understanding on how to take out disturbance out of the environment, by having one to one conversation he was able to understand the person’s opinion in better way and also be able to explain his approach. What I have learnt is be clam and define the priority, one of the aspect of leadership.
I too started to use some of these aspects in my daily routine, this helps me in gaining my confidence and also a team player.
