Question & Answer: 3. Explain the depth interview technique and describe its advantages and disadvantages……

Depth interviews are the ones which gives the opportunity to both the interviewer and interviewee to ask and tell as per their pattern and understanding. It is not a structured interview and the interviewer gets the opportunity to ask the question in his glow of conversation, talk a little more to get indepth incite of the interviewee, fall back on the previous question and ask during anytime of the interview.

But the disadvantage of this interview is that it is time taking, an unskilled and unorganized one, might miss out on the important questions to be asked due to lack of structuring etc.
