Question 2 – Chapter 7 M&Ms come in different colors. Is the “mix” of colors in a bag a continuous random variable? Why or why not? Explain.

A continuous random variable can at times assume an infinite digit of values within a particular range; thus, it is usually the results of some given type of measurement. The “mix” of colors in the bad is therefore not considered as a continuous random variable (Petrov, 2012). When the M&Ms is drawn from a particular bag, the number of M&Ms of any given color is 0,1,2,3 and so on thus making it not to change.
