POEM STORY OF MY LIFE Essay

LITTLE THINGS IN MY LIFE

Woke up at 11 in the morning,

A time almost afternoon,

Grabbed my towel, toothbrush,

Sing a song from my favourite cartoon.

It’s time for a little bath,

A bath before going to school,

I’ve used my soap and shampoo,

But perhaps, a quick dive in the pool?

I wear my uniforms,

As because I’m still in form two,

Got to use my perfume , deodorant,

Oh, the Nivea Man will do!

I stopped at the kitchen,

To have a little snack,

Ate my jam and bread,

Ouch! I think I felt a little smack!

Mom said, “Be careful!”,

Dad added, ”Watch the road,”

But,did I mention, !”

I’m not five years old?

Grabbed my bike and go,

No time to waste,

It’s a scorching hot day,

Sweaty, smelly socks, who cares?

Many vehicles, passing by,

A car filled with sweaty boys of a football team,

Motorcycles, bicycles,

And even a truck full of ice-cream!

Now I’m at school,

Be nice to people around,

Teachers, friends, and guards,

Oh! Look at the pen I found!

Waiting at the canteen,

The smell of the fried chicken really teases me,

The class will begin in an hour or two,

Did I mention I’m an early bird?

Got to wait for my friends,

And my teachers too,

The ones who teach Science and Math,

And every other subject that you know.

Those two hours passed,

It’s time to start the day,

“Line up neatly!”, said the prefect,

Who is my friend, Jay.
