Looking up at the sky as the birds fly by on a hot sunny day thinking about my plans and what I
plan on doing for the day, watching cars by pass one by one seeing the trees blow and the wind.
As I watch and stare at the pond I see little tad poles in the water dosing off in a trans I start to
walk and block out every sound of voices and cars and forget about whats around me at the
moment experiencing time outside to myself feels good and would start being done more often
starring at the pond thoughts come to mind weird but gloomy thoughts that has never been
there before thinking about good times and hold times and grievings of lost that I have took.
Night falls mood changes and things go down heel getting worse news and aggravated
throughout the day to let all the pain in anger I sit outside no phone, no music and no company
just me thinking about what life would be like if things changed hearing crickets and the
loud dogs barking eager and willing to know and explore more I get up from where I am sitting
circle around the house not to go far in the dark night watching the moon shine down with its
crest shape coming out of trans of thought I see a pretty white rabbit wanting to get closer and
touch it but dont know how dangerous it is.
Being alone and feeling like you have no one late
at night on a dark gloomy night seeing the darkest side of yourself. Tears roll down thinking am
I cold hearted and evil or its just I care for one too much, many people have a good side and a
Dark side and many cant controls neither side but life with nature can calm you down even at
Your darkest moments. Take the time to sit outside experience what nature feel like when
You are down see what it feels like to be off your phone and experience things trying that
For the first time helped me a lot and I will surely do it more often to get fresh air and
keep all negativity off my mind when my anger is taking over from things that have been
said and as I sit and think to myself everything thats racing through my mind will remain
unsaid.
Transcendentalism has numerous values of individualism, idealism and the divinity of nature.
The basic beliefs of it is that society organized religion and political parties corrupt the purity of
the individual they have faith that people are at their best when truly self-reliant and
independent. It is an American literary, political, and philosophical movement of the early
nineteenth century where as Emerson and Thoreau sought this relation in solitude amidst
nature, and there writing. They were critics of their contemporary society for its unthinking
conformity. As Emerson says if a plant cannot live according to his nature, it dies and so as a
man, as expressed by Emerson transcendentalism is finding your own way to connect with
yourself, who you are, and your peace with yourself. Walden saw that most lives were
becoming consumed in the mindless details of the modern world. He wanted to defeat it so he
left everything that was unnecessary. When Thoreau moved to Walden pond, it was to connect
with nature, rely on his own self, but mostly to simplify all that he did not need to have.
Transcendentalism was prominent in the cultural life of the U.S., especially in New England
From 1836 until just before the civil war. Transcendentalists believed that society and social
institutions, such as organized religion and political parties, corrupted the purity of individuals.
transcendentalism is the belief that man is at this best when he is independent, and not a part
of organized religion or politics. An example of transcendentalism is the quote “a man in debt is
so far a slave” by Ralph Waldo Emerson. causing many to lead unfulfilled lives of quiet
desperation. One can achieve a life of contentment by applying the ideology of
Transcendentalism. Concepts of Transcendentalism, such as nonconformity, immersing oneself
in nature, and spirituality, can guide an individual to self-fulfillment. Because of the prevalence
