This style of leadership can be applied to any association, from private businesses to schools to government. Indraa has recommended herself to staffs. She shows interest in the personal lives of staffs and has a vision of the firm’s future. Nooyi made news when she directed letters to the paternities of direct reports to let them recognize how honored they should be of their executive adult/children.

When one recruit was undecided about joining the company, Forbes magazine reports, Nooyi called the candidate’s mom and subsequently landed the executive. She has also made fans of investors with smart divestitures and acquisitions, such as Tropicana, Quaker Oats and Gatorade.She used to share ideas with her employees and receive their feedback and implements decisions that were discussed and shared. The leader’s style may continually be changing to meet the needs of the employees. .Pepsi Co. has experienced a lot of modifications in order to stay competitive and preserve its market share. Indra Nooyi had a chief role in this success. Indra’s leadership considers employee motivation of greatest importance and constantly maintains good relationships with her staffs. Indra Nooyi trusts communication with staffs is essential. Allowing them know where the company is directed, what changes are taking place, how they will be valuable for the company and what is predictable of the staffs during this change. During her era employee’s satisfaction has enriched, employee’s turnover minimized and work situations have developedOne more leadership style is the transformational style, a vision is great, but it requests a plan and motivated workers to put it into motion. Bass’ four I’s of Transformational Leadership: Idealized Influence, Intellectual Stimulation, Inspirational Motivation and Individualized Consideration are the formula to get a workforce on-board. Indra Nooyi appreciates her staffs and customers, and actually works hard to empower them to become even better.The four I’s:1-Idealized influence: being a role model by locating an example of ethics and morals 2-Inspiratioal motivation: getting followers to adhere to a shared vision 3-Intellectual stimulation: enabling followers to be innovative and autonomous 4- Individualized Consideration: caring about people at workplace.Nooyi is placing PepsiCo to draw new talent through its ethics and morals, as well as preserve its present talent by meeting the staffs at their value level. In addition, Nooyi makes assured that her staffs and followers sense challenged, valued, empowered, and decent about what they perform day-to-day within the firm. Transformational leadership results in persons feeling better about themselves and their contributions to the greater common good (Northouse, 2016, p. 176). This sentiment is in line with Nooyi’s vision of Performance with Purpose.Nooyi is a role-model for her followers, but Carol Bartz says it best Any time we can put up someone like her, hold her up as an example of what females can do (Dubner, 2018). Performance with a goal is a result of Nooyi’s high values, morals, and ethics. The aim is to make a positive imprint on society and the environment (PepsiCo, 2018). She desires PepsiCo to be made up of a workforce concentrated on doing good, filled with persons inspired to make a difference instead of just make cash. This is a straight result of her Ideal Influence as a leader and CEO.By standing beside her staff and working just as hard, Nooyi is using Inspirational Motivation by pushing everybody to be better: productively ,ethically and personally; and this results in buy-in from the workforce and customers for the PepsiCo vision of sustainability. If Nooyi is a role-model and is functioning hard towards victory, others will be inspired to imitate her.Nooyi has propagated Intellectual Stimulation during her global communities by providing her staffs the independence to create; and because of this personnel around the world are empowered to invent local flavors for the Lay’s potato chip brand. Nooyi is well known for her unique way of showing worker appreciation.
