In our chapter reading this week, we learn more about setting up a sample company in QuickBooks Online. We explore how to customize a chart of accounts, explore lists, and navigate the various areas for customers, vendors and employees. Which feature do you like most so far in your navigation of QuickBooks Online?

QuickBooks online have risen excitedly in the companies because they improve productivity as well as online experience. For instance, QuickBooks online is used to gauge the level of business. The managers can make decisions easily when QuickBooks online is used. They are more than a ledger. Moreover, QuickBooks online has the easiest access to the company’s records. These involve sales, banking, and expenses, among others. The following paper discusses the feature I like so far in the navigation of QuickBooks online (Chudyk & White, 2017).

Changing of ‘home’ to ‘dashboard’ is a feature that has impressed me in the navigation of QuickBooks online. The feature is first seen when QuickBooks online is logged in to. However, correct transactions are entered in time (Greenstein, 2018). The QuickBooks online will show the sales, expenses for different periods on the dashboard.  Interestingly, the feature shows the balances of the current accounts. Therefore, the business will have to give the best decision-making process. Caution is taken care when using the function. Information in the QuickBooks online is essential. They need to be updated and reconciled. Therefore, updates are made in the banks and the credit cards. However, the chart of accounts is adjacent to the dashboard. Clicking at the new accounting tab will give Charts of Accounts. Therefore, using the feature becomes very interesting (Greenstein, 2018).

In conclusion, QuickBooks online has increased the accuracy and the speed of accounting (Chudyk & White, 2017). Therefore, more advancement has been achieved in business. Proper management of QuickBooks online is important because it provides information accurately in time. However, confidentiality prevails when QuickBooks online is used. Other advantages include competitive rates, efficiency, e-commerce, e-payments, and the best book-keeping and recording (Chudyk & White, 2017).
