How to Manage Stress Essay

A very good afternoon to my beloved professor and fellow classmates, I am Chusdei V. Calderon of BSHRM2A. I have a question for all of you, Is there anyone here that was stress these past few days or sem? I assume most of us do, because of all the school works and deadlines for us to meet.As all of you know, without us knowing the proper stress management techniques, the consequences can be devastating. That is why I am here to discuss with you “How to manage stress”.

Stress is a normal part of life and usually comes from everyday occurrences. Here are some ways you can deal with everyday sources of stress. 1.Spending time with family is one of the ways to manage stress. By spending time with our beloved family members, we can stay relaxed and avoid stress as we forget our work and all the problems in life for a while.

2.Competing with others, whether in accomplishments, appearance, or possessions, is an avoidable source of stress.

You might know people who do all they can to provoke envy in others. While it may seem easy to say you should be satisfied with what you have, it’s the truth. Stress from this kind of jealousy is self-inflicted. 3.Remember, sometimes it’s okay to do nothing. You don’t have to shoulder every responsibilities, it’s okay to relax and just enjoy your life. 4.Try doing only one thing at a time. Don’t rush on things too much, don’t stress yourself because of the things that should be done. Take your time, take one step at a time.

5.Holding positive thoughts, rather than succumbing to a negative one can help in maintaining a positive attitude. we must think positively about ourselves. Surrounding ourselves with positive and inspiring people can help elevate our mood and talking with someone about intense feelings when distressed can be helpful to reduce stress . 6.You can go for a walk nearby your home sweet home or go for a shop at supermarket .By doing that,you can erupt your stress besides relaxing your mind. This is because, when you are doing something enjoyable enough for you, you will be able to forget your problems. Another example is by taking a walk at your house, you may be feel relaxed. Just stretch your body after hoursof tiring and stressful work.

In a nutshell, people do get stressed up. However, it is just a matter of how we manage stress and tension. As long as we can manage it properly, we can prevent the consequences of having too much stress than we can handle. as the saying goes ‘It’s better to prevent than to cure’.
