GSA Cloud Solution
Topic for this presentation will be on the government company GSA. The problem that is being addressed is the companies APL listing and how a cloud based solution can streamline that process.
Steps:
1. A brief overview of the context and of the problem or situation to be addressed. Include facts about the company, industry and competitors.
(Typically, this will be the creation of or improvement of a business capability, supported by cloud-based applications, data, and infrastructure.)
2. A diagnosis of the need for change, and sources of resistance to change.
(Typically, this will be based around the need to change a business capability or the way it is performed, along with the need to change the supporting IT.)
3. Identification, including comparing and contrasting, of at least three stakeholder groups that are relevant to the issues of the proposed project. See more details at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Services_Administration
4. Recommended stakeholder engagement strategies with supporting analysis
5. A summary of the business operating model. The Lean Canvas or the Business Model Canvas should be used: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Model_Canvas
(I recommend the Lean Canvas as it’s more tactical, and this is a tactical assignment. Please see the Canvas examples at the end of this document.)
6. Recommended high-level future state design to realize the benefits of a cloud-based solution. The future state design should highlight the changes in each domain (or layer) of the enterprise architecture. Specifically, what will change in the:
Business Architecture
Applications Architecture
Data Architecture
Infrastructure Architecture
7. Communication strategies to inform the stakeholders about the future state and how it is different.
Ensure that the content provided has the following;
1. Is each section fully developed?
2. Are definitions or explanations of key terms provided to make recommendations clear?
3. Are sufficient explanations and examples provided where relevant?
