FIFA economic event history

Write a 10 pages paper.  Choose a significant economic event history (FIFA) and explain it in detail from an economics perspective.  The paper should (1) provide the background and cause(s) of the significant event (i.e. state of the economy, current events at the time, etc.), (2) economic terms and concepts present in the event, (3) the effects of the event on the US (and foreign economies, if applicable), and (4) and your major learnings of the event
