Examine the racist beliefs that played such a central role in European imperialism. How did racism justify imperialism and also inspire it?

The racisms beliefs arose from the fact that Europeans were seen to be more superior to the rest of the people. They believed that they had the powerful knowledge, ideas, and lives. This led the Europeans to invade other states, displace them and even force them to be their slaves. In addition, they separated themselves completely from other peoples in terms of their homes, schools, hospitals, restaurants and other places. Hence this factor influenced imperialism to a greater extent (Schmitter, 2014).
