ELEMENTAL ANALYSIS

The synthesized new mixed ligand ternary complexes were studied for elemental analysis and obtained data is incorporated in (Table 4.3 and 4.4). The estimated data was found in accordance with their 1:2:1 stoichiometric ratios of the type [La(1N2N)2?(L)?2H2O] and [Ce(1N2N)2?(L)?2H2O] complexes.

CONDUCTANCE

The electrical conductivity of synthesized mixed ligand lanthanum(III) and cerium(III) complexes were measured in DMF at 10-3M concentration by using Equiptronics Autoranging Conductivity Meter.

The recorded electrical conductance values (Table 4.5 and 4.6) are in the range of 0.000151-0.000162 Mhos cm2 mol-1 which indicates that the complexes are non-electrolytic in nature1-4.
