It is accurate that there can indeed be informal organizational structures. Though most companies have formal structures, others do have informal organizational structures operating in sync with the formal structures. However, the presence of these two forms of structure at times conflicts with each other making it essential to have an objective understanding of informal organizational structures. Having an additional informal structure is critical to the success of a business. Informal structures are basically developed around social and project groups. Due to the ability of informal structures based on social tenets, there is higher ability of having an immediate response from employees.  The immediate response in a business setting saves companies time and effort to conduct certain tasks. This in turn acts as a motivating factor as employees are able to work together in teamwork to achieve similar goals or the set company targets. In addition, people also seek to rely on the informal structures due to lack of effectiveness in the formal structure. Instead of there being a vacuum in the operational structure, the informal structure
