It is accurate that there can indeed be informal organizational structures. Though most companies have formal structures, others do have informal organizational structures operating in sync with the formal structures. However, the presence of these two forms of structure at times conflicts with each other making it essential to have an objective understanding of informal organizational structures. Having an additional informal structure is critical to the success of a business. Informal structures are basically developed around social and project groups.
