Corporate social responsibility CSR is business model in which organizations take internal responsibility to impact the community economically, socially and environmental in uplifting the wellbeing of their operational environment (Caramela, 2018). Corporate social responsibility has a significant impact on corporate performance to an extent that it is used to partner with the local community, advance marketing strategy and build on the organizational brand image. Caramela advances that CSR is a moral responsibility that firms take to enhance environment and the society in a positive manner as opposed to contributing to its degradation. Per se, the public are able to see the good impact the company has on them hence increases their attachment to the firm. The brand of the organization is also enhanced when the public develop positive perception about the impact it has to the society. The consequences of good CSR are increased revenue due to increased customer base, good brand image development and fortified consumer loyalty.
