M1A1: Critical Review: Why Change Management Fails
The world of technology is growing exponentially both in use and advancements of new applications. The video describes the growth of Internet facilitating the development of such applications as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google, among others. The way these applications associated to the development of technology impact to the world is critical and enhanced to the amount of data and information generated on the Web on daily (VideoShredHead, 2012). The information we currently have on the Internet, as a result, is higher than ever since the world’s formation. In the next four years, this information and data are bound to grow further begging the question what will it do for the world.
Also, as the world prepares for the future through the education systems and ventures, most of what is currently taught by the time student finishes their course will be redundant and outdated. Most of the jobs in the world today did not exist in the past ten years ago. Therefore, it is required for the management to prepare for the unknown, what has never been seen, problems that are yet to be known, and preparation of the ventures to take the world in another transformation.
Before the development of Google, there was no search engine to ask the variety of questions directed to their database every day. The kind of transformation draws the level of world change and desire to constantly transform with time to remain relevant in the contemporary period (Hayes, 2014). Therefore, organizations and managers must focus on the future, the impossibilities, and the unknown than dwelling on the traditional successes. This is a major entity for success; otherwise, the management would fail terribly.
