What kinds of jobs are needed in an organization? How has specialization of labor, or division of labor, been implemented in an organization in which you have worked (or researched)? How are departments organized? Do you perceive these groupings to be effective? Why or why not?

 Workplace needs to be encouraging and comfortable for an employee to give his/her maximum to the company. Job needs to be comfortable and at the same time challenging. The employee must not face any kind of distractions or tensions and the management have to take care that the employee does not face any kind of discrimination or harassment. Generally in companies each work is carried out by different departments like production,finance, marketing etc., Work is divided within these departments which makes the work easy and systematic. Labour unions are maintained and these unions support labour who work in the company and help them in getting all the benefits they are eligible for. These unions also fight against any discrimination faced by any member. These departments help in completing work in the given time which increases profit for the company. For the growth of any company system is essential and this system helps in maintaining the reputation of that company. Yes these groupings are effective and they help in company’s growth.
