There are three hospitals in your town. You work for Community Hospital, and within a 25 mile radius there is also Middle Hospital and University Hospital. You are serving on a Quality Task Force at your hospital and the task force is comparing death rates for all three hospitals. The task force finds that Community Hospital has the highest death rate and some of the members are alarmed. In a minimum of 250 words, address the following: does the higher death rate at Community Hospital mean that there is lower quality care? So if the area where the medication facility has a higher death rate and is in the central area where the population is high, it doesn’t means that it is not performing well. we should ideally identify all the parameters of the performances in terms of facilities, doctor’s treatments, succession ratios per patient, and other infra and medical parameters.
In the case of the community hospitals where some of the members are alarmed, we should closely monitor and analyze all the cases of past and see if any infra updates or medical facility updates are needed or not. and if found needed, we should immediately implement the scarce.
But if so is in the case of the medical facility with a lower population rate in the surroundings should also be closely monitored because when the population is less – there are lesser amount of persons to be inspected and cured medically and then also the death rate is higher it is an alarming situation for us to analyze that what is the exact problem and cure it immediately to improve the medical result in that area.
