Re-write or rephrase the statement below?

The environmental impact of nuclear power results from the nuclear fuel cycle, operation, and the effects of nuclear accidents. The greenhouse gas emissions from nuclear fission power are much smaller than those associated with coal, oil, and gas, and the routine health risks are much smaller than those associated with coal. However, there is a “catastrophic risk” potential if containment fails,[1] which in nuclear reactors can be brought about by overheated fuels melting and releasing large quantities of fission products into the environment. This potential risk could wipe out the benefits. The most long-lived radioactive wastes, including spent nuclear fuel, must be contained and isolated from the environment for a long period of time. On the other side, spent nuclear fuel could be reused, yielding, even more, energy, and reducing the amount of waste to be contained. The public has been made sensitive to these risks and there has been considerable public opposition to nuclear power.

Expert Answer

The impact from nuclear power is very dynamic in nature. The power from nucelar source is very useful if we compared from other source like coal, and gas because they emit very less green house gas so that more energy can be utilised in much better way. At the same time there are lot of concerns associated with nucelar power. One major thing is it may results catastrophic risk if there is any overheating situation create and it may release more quantities of contageous fission products to environment. The long lived radioactive waste can sustain in the environment and can cause several fatal calamities. This has to be taken care of very sersiously. Amidst such risk nuyclear waste can be reused again which gives more yeild and productivity and also reduce power generation cost in a long run. Public awareness is required inroder to understand them the benefits of nuclear power and how it can be effectively used.
